Continuous Hemodynamic Monitoring

A innovative FDA and CE cleared device that continuously and non-invasively measures and reports ICU quality data in real time. As opposed to current continuous hemodynamic monitoring modalities that utilize invasive catheter-based technology, Caretaker uses a simple finger sensor and a patented algorithm to continuously measure and report key physiological parameters.  Studies show that Caretaker non-invasive measurements correlate to gold standard invasive catheter measurements.

Caretaker reports ICU quality wireless vital signs monitoring via a wearable device that wirelessly transmits patient data from virtually anywhere. Caretaker sets a new standard in mobility, simplicity, and cost, enabling continuous real-time monitoring as patients traverse the full continuum of care, within the hospital, from remote facilities, or from the patient’s own home.

Why Caretaker?

Traditionally, accurate cNIBP monitoring has been limited to invasive catheters or expensive complicated machines used only in critical care settings. CareTaker’s low-cost, small, comfortable form factor, and intuitive design brings “ICU Quality” cNIBP capabilities to virtually any setting. The benefits of gathering blood pressure measurements continuously over a time interval are well documented and significantly better that intermittent “single-point-in-time” blood pressure readings from cumbersome upper arm cuff squeezes, which are susceptible to errors, often yield incorrect results, and can miss underlying hemodynamic problems.

What Data Can Caretaker Provide ?

Caretaker measures a full array of wireless vital signs and hemodynamic parameters. Including HR, RR, Systolic, Diastolic, MAP, Sp02, ETC02, Temperature. Cardiac Output, Stroke Volume, LVET, HRV, Arterial Stiffness, Hemorrhage Detection – Awaiting clearance.

Uses a comfortable finger sensor to sense the arterial pulse pressure waveform

Gathers physiological parameters from Bluetooth devices such as temperature, weight scales

Analyses arterial pressure waveform using CareTaker’s Patented Pulse Decomposition Algorithm (“PDA”)

Transmits encrypted vital sign data wirelessly to a secure cloud or to a Bluetooth device
